Today, I got the first shot of a hormone treatment called Lupron that will zap all the estrogen from my body and send me into early menopause for six months to treat my endometriosis. The main side effects are hot flashes, minimal sex drive, moderate to severe mood swings, general body pain, and trouble sleeping.
Please pray for me.

So I found out yesterday that Tan-N-Go has been charging me $30 a month since December. I didn’t notice it somehow because it was between my pay period. I’ve already paid for this month, so I feel obligated to tan until March 15th, when it finally cancels. The point is, I’m sunburnt and I smell like the popular girls I went to high school with: like cooked lotion and sweat.

Going in and out of a low grade fever is the worst thing ever. I’m literally burning up and shivering all at the same time. This is ridiculous.

Watching documentaries about the US Drug War...
is unbelievably disturbing. The literal billions of dollars in taxpayer money we spend every year, yet drugs are more easily accessible to minors than alcohol or cigarettes. Obviously, what we’re doing isn’t working.

Hey guys. I had surgery today. They found endometriosis on the underside of my uterus. This is good, because if they’d found it on my ovaries or fallopian tubes, my chances of having children, scientifically speaking, could drop to about 60%. Medically speaking, this was the best possible outcome. If they’d found nothing, I would’ve paid several thousands of dollars in surgery...
